The Dallas Cowboys defense for the second straight week has major questions after a 40-37 win in overtime against the New York Giants. The Giants offense has had major questions over the last couple of seasons and Dallas let Russell Wilson throw for 450 yards and three touchdowns.

Even with the Cowboys improving to 1-1 and the Giants dropping to 0-2, there are many major questions about Dallas's defense entering week three against the Chicago Bears. One NFL analyst believes that the Cowboys have a major problem on the defensive side of the football.

NFL Analyst Very Critical of Dallas Cowboys Defense

Dan Orlovsky of ESPN is very known for watching game film on every NFL team. There is no doubt that there are a lot of errors on the Cowboys defense. Orlovsky said on his Twitter on Monday,

"The Cowboys defensive tape is a disaster Scheme Communication Execution Leverage Discipline About as bad as can be."

Part of the issue with the Cowboys defense is that they traded away Micah Parsons and cornerback DaRon Bland is injured. Those two players are very talented, and coaching may not be the issue in this situation. The problem with Dallas in this situation is a lack of defensive personnel.

The defense is going to have major problems slowing down teams this season. If defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus can fix some of the problems, then it they can potentially not have to ask the offense to score 30 or more points every week. Eberflus is facing his former team the Bears this upcoming weekend in Chicago, Illinois.

This will be a big game for him as he tries to beat his former team and slow down quarterback Caleb Williams. The Cowboys gave up a ton of big plays to the Giants on Sunday, but there is time for Dallas to fix its defense this season.
