Even before the first snap of the Dallas Cowboys/Philadelphia Eagles game, there was controversy.
Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter spat on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and was ejected from the game.
Carter, who is the Eagles' best defensive player, gave the Cowboys a gift by getting kicked out of the game, and so far, the Cowboys have taken advantage of his absence, marching down the field for the game and getting the season’s first touchdown.
Carter is being dragged for his actions, especially by former New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, who called him a “dumb*ss” for spitting on Prescott.
“Jalen Carter is a real dumb*ss period. A real dumb*ss.” And you want to know while he was in college, he was in the sh*t he was in,” said Johnson. “A real dumb*ss.”
“‘If I was Dak Prescott, I would have kicked his *ss in his nuts,” period.”
Strong words from Johnson, but his sentiment seems to be that of a lot of people online who thought Carter made a dumb move that not only hurt himself but also his team.
In 2023, while he attended Georgia, Carter was charged with a DUI, reckless driving, which caused the death of two people. He served no time, paid a fine, and had to do 80 hours of community service.
Carter may not only have to sit out this game, but the NFL will most likely suspend him for more games and hit him with a huge fine.
The Eagles are already paying for his absence in tonight’s game.
