The Dallas Cowboys kept pace with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East after their division rival lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night.

The Cowboys dropped their Week 14 game to the Detroit Lions, but things remain status quo in the division after the Eagles lost, also.

Here's an updated look at where things stand in the NFC East and conference playoff picture going into Week 15 of the 2025 NFL campaign.

NFC East standings

1. Philadelphia Eagles (8-5)

2. Dallas Cowboys (6-6-1)

3. Washington Commanders (3-10)

4. New York Giants (2-11)

According to the New York Times Playoff Simulator, the Cowboys have an 8% chance to win the division.

Philly's loss on Monday keeps its magic number at three, which means any combo of Eagles wins and Cowboys losses that equal up to three will clinch the division for Philadelphia.

Because of the Cowboys' tie earlier in the season, tie-breakers will not factor into the equation here. Philly simply has to finish with one more win than Dallas to secure the division.

The Eagles are in a great position to snap their three-game losing streak in Week 15, as they take on the lowly Las Vegas Raiders. Meanwhile, the Cowboys get a tougher matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

NFC wild-card standings

13Arizona Cardinals3-10 (eliminated)
14New Orleans Saints3-10 (eliminated)
15Washington Commanders3-10 (eliminated)
16New York Giants2-11 (eliminated)

The Cowboys are going to need a lot of help to earn a wild-card spot.

Dallas must win the rest of its games and will also need help from the teams ahead of them via losses. It's about as bleak as one could get for the Cowboys in the playoff picture in the NFC.
