We are just 24 hours away from the NFL kickoff between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, and the Cowboys received some much-needed good news Wednesday.

It’s being reported that both Trevon Diggs and Tyler Guyton will be available to play tomorrow against the Eagles.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs and OT Tyler Guyton, both of whom have had knee injuries, are off the injury report and expected to play in Thursday night’s opener versus the Eagles.

Both Diggs and Guyton have nagging injuries, but weren’t expected back this soon.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said Tuesday that both were trending in the right direction.

“Yeah, I think trending in the right way,” head coach Brian Schottenheimer said via the Dallas News. “We got our meeting with the training staff after the practice today, but both guys are working their butts off to try and get back and be ready to go.”

Diggs is still dealing with a knee injury from last season that some thought might keep him out of the 2025 season, but he is almost 100 percent.

Guyton got hurt during fall camp when he suffered a fractured bone and a sprained ligament in his knee. Team officials targeted early September for his return.

Diggs had mentioned he didn’t think he would be returning until the end of the month, and there was no mention of Guyton when he thought he’d return, but clearly, the team needed their help, so they decided to start tomorrow.

No one has said how long both can play or whether it will be a couple of series or the whole game. It will be interesting to see what impact, if any, these two will have on the game.
