CeeDee Lamb injury update: Latest news on Cowboys WR's status in Week 3 game image

We aren't out of the first half yet and the Dallas Cowboys have an injury concern with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb got injured on the Cowboys' second offensive series of the game against the Chicago Bears. Lamb got his legs trapped under a Bears defender while getting tackled.

Lamb was able to return to the game but then exited for a second time, which is bad news for his status for the rest of the game.

Prior to his injury, Lamb had a single carry for -1 yards but had not been targeted in the passing game.

Here's the latest injury update on Lamb.

UPDATE: Welp, so much for Lamb's return.

He tried to gut it out for a few plays but is clearly not able to do much on his bum ankle. He is back out of the game.

Fair to assume we might not see him again on Sunday.

UPDATE: Lamb is listed as questionable to return with an ankle injury and is sporting a heavy tape job.

The star wideout is still on the sideline trying to work the injury out and get back into the game.

UPDATE: Lamb has emerged from the blue medical tent and ESPN's Todd Archer believes he's going to stay in the game. Still no update from the Cowboys, though.

END OF UPDATE

Lamb left the field and was getting checked out on the sideline before going into the blue medical tent. The team has yet to provide an update, but it looks like Dallas' superstar wide receiver is dealing with an ankle injury.

We'll update this page as soon as more information is available.

As long as Lamb is sidelined, the Cowboys are going to need more out of George Pickens and Jake Ferguson.
