CeeDee Lamb injury: Cowboys' star WR has leg turned at awkward angle on tackle vs. Bears image

CeeDee Lamb caught a screen wide to the right and was trying to make a play.

But when the Dallas Cowboys' WR was tackled from behind, his left leg got caught up.

It bent at an awkward angle underneath him, and the tenor of the Cowboys' season changed, at least temporarily.

Lamb went to the sideline and was checked out there first with the lower left leg injury.

He then walked off under his own power toward the locker room.

Given Lamb's ability to walk, it seems like he might have a chance to return to the football game and like further trouble may have been avoided.

He was ruled questionable to return with an ankle injury.

Lamb has gone over 100 yards in each of the first two weeks of the season.

If he's out, George Pickens becomes that much more important after his offseason trade from the Steelers to Dallas.
