Shedeur Sanders predicted for 'undeniable' result in Browns QB competition image

The Cleveland Browns enter camp with a big quarterback battle. Each of Dillon Gabriel, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Shedeur Sanders are battling it out for the starting QB job.

Who emerges under center when Week 1 rolls around remains to be seen, especially with the calendar barely turning to June.

Early on, Sanders has been impressing at camp, even with his shocking NFL Draft slide to the fifth round.

Thomas Valentine of Pro Football Focus predicted the QB battles for some teams in the league, and he has Sanders winning the job.

"Narratives or outside optics won’t matter too much to the Browns; the goal is purely to put the most talented quarterback under center. And even if none of their options project to be the long-term answer, Sanders could be the starter for 2025. Draft order notwithstanding, he is the most talented quarterback on the roster. He has reportedly impressed in OTAs, and while there will be some noise regarding how he found his way to the team, his talent is undeniable."

As Valentine wrote, Sanders' talent is evident, and was at both Jackson State and Colorado during his college days.

Some hinted at character issues in regards to his NFL Draft slide, but what he has flashed on the field early on could have him running away with the job.

Only time will tell, but it could be Sanders under center in Week 1 for the Browns and their never-ending QB turmoil.
