Shedeur Sanders turned into a mime to hide true feelings on Browns' starting QB decision image

Normally, in a moment like this, there would be quotations to reveal how an athlete felt about a big decision.

But this time, there are no quotes. Shedeur Sanders, the Cleveland Browns’ rookie QB, didn’t provide them—not in the way you’re probably thinking.

Sanders responded -- but only visually.

He turned into a mime. He mouthed words, and you can likely read some of them on his lips. But no sound came out.

Have a watch:

It’s unclear whether Sanders planned the gesture in advance or if it was a spontaneous, humorous response to the media.

Either way, it's a hilarious way to approach this situation.

Sanders knows that anything he says will generate headlines.

This time, he chose a different approach -- one that could help him stay patient while waiting for his turn to move up the depth chart.
