The Cleveland Browns lost to the Detroit Lions 34-10 on Sunday. With the loss, the Browns dropped to 1-3 on the season while the Lions improved to 3-1.
One of the biggest disappointments for Cleveland so far has been the offense. Quarterback Joe Flacco has not played well through the first four games of the season. If the Browns continue to spiral offensively, they will at some point switch to either Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders at quarterback.
Sanders has many fans who believe he should get a shot over Gabriel, but former NFL coach Rex Ryan doesn't appear to be part of that group.
Former NFL coach has harsh take about Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders
One of the topics on the show Get Up on ESPN on Monday was whether the Browns should bench Flacco, as Cleveland's offense has yet to score over 20 points this season.
Rex Ryan made a very strong take about Sanders on the show, saying "something's missing" with him.
"This kid talks and he runs his mouth," Ryan said. "Like he said, 'I can be a starting quarterback' with his arms crossed like this. Get your a- in the front row and study and do all that. If I know, the whole league knows. Quit being an embarrassment that way.
"You've got the talent to be the quarterback. You should be embarrassed that you're not the quarterback now."

It will be interesting to see if Sanders will ever get his chance. He is currently third on the depth chart at the quarterback position. The Browns are probably going to stick with Flacco for Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings.
If this team is going to make a switch from Flacco to either Sanders or Gabriel, it may not come until Oct. 19 against the Miami Dolphins.
Ryan is no stranger to working with quarterbacks. He spent over a decade as a coordinator before getting a chance to coach the Jets and then the Bills. He's been with ESPN since his dismissal from Buffalo in 2016.
Clearly, Ryan still thinks Sanders has a lot to learn.
