The Cleveland Browns will enter camp with the most polarizing quarterback battle in the NFL. Shedeur Sanders, Dillon Gabriel, Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco will hash it out to see who becomes the QB1.
In the end, one of them will likely be released or traded, so it will be interesting to see who is the odd man out.
Well, the Browns made a massive announcement on Monday as they signed Sanders to a contract.

We've signed QB Shedeur Sanders
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Browns inked Sanders to a four-year deal worth $4.6 million with a signing bonus of $447,380.
Sanders becomes the fourth Browns draft pick to sign a contract, joining Bowling Green tight end Harold Fannin Jr., Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson, and UCLA linebacker Carson Schwesinger.
Sanders was a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft after a stunning fall, and there were even reports about him potentially being cut, although the Browns giving him a four-year deal could suggest they have no plans of cutting him.
It's worth noting that figure is right around the range of fifth-round picks and his slot, No. 144, so take it as you will.
Still, the Browns signed Sanders to a contract even before fellow rookie QB Dillon Gabriel, who was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft.
The Cleveland QB competition is only just beginning, and it starts with Sanders putting pen to paper before Gabriel.
