Sometimes, something happens that feels like it has probably never happened before.
That's what it felt like on Thursday when Cleveland Browns safety Grant Delpit not only quoted Chinese philosopher Sun Tzu but made it a point to mention that that's who he was quoting.
During Delpit's media availability, he was asked about Cleveland's defense creating turnovers.

This is what Delpit responded, via The Athletic's Zac Jackson:
"Opportunities multiply as they are seized. You know who said that? Sun Tzu. Sun Tzu apparently said a lot."
The Browns have yet to notch an interception or a fumble recovery through two losses to start the season.
Maybe that's why Delpit is turning to a historical figure who may or may not have actually existed, at least as far as his texts are concerned.

But the Sun Tzu that conceptually lived was alive around the year 500 B.C.
He's believed to have been a general, and he and his descendant Sun Bin wrote about military strategy.
Delpit apparently has been doing some light reading.
The Browns hope it starts to pay off, beginning this week in a tough matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
