Dillon Gabriel might be closing in on his NFL debut.
It just might not come how you think for the Cleveland Browns' rookie quarterback.
Gabriel might get on the field to hold for placekicking attempts.
That's because punter Corey Bojorquez was hurt on a blocked punt. Bojorquez went to the medical tent, but it wasn't clear how bad his injury was.
In the meantime, Gabriel took some snaps on the sideline to prepare if he's needed, clearly signaling that he's the backup holder.
Browns fans on social media immediately began to joke that Gabriel should get in the game for a more standard reason.
