Browns predicted to land Shedeur Sanders a new weapon in 2026 draft image

Shedeur Sanders has taken his starting opportunity and run with it, going 1-2 as a starter, throwing for 769 yards and five touchdowns.

With the Cleveland Browns seemingly having a quarterback, it's time to start building around Sanders and supplying him with the tools to succeed as an NFL trigger man.

In Pro Football Focus's latest mock draft, Trevor Sikkema has them doing just that with the No. 4 overall pick.

Mock draft has Browns landing Arizona State WR Jordan Tyson

"Coming off a very promising game — albeit in a loss against the Titans — let’s say Shedeur Sanders shows the Browns enough to avoid a massive trade-up for a quarterback at No. 1 and instead explore a draft strategy that doesn’t involve taking one," wrote Sikkema.

"When healthy, Tyson is an absolute stud. He has a separation rate above the 80th percentile against both zone and man, and he would immediately step in as WR1 for the Browns. The concern, however, is that Tyson has been injured in all four years of his college career, and that will cloud his draft range."

Despite Jordan Tyson's injury concerns, the Browns take a swing at a position of need here by selecting the Arizona State product.

Cleveland's current pass-catching options leave a lot to be desired, with rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. Leading the team in receiving with 619 yards.

Jerry Jeudy is a talented player, but over his six-year NFL career, he hasn't proved he can be a No. 1 option.

Adding Tyson would give Sanders another playmaker to work with, and start moving the Browns offense in the right direction.
