There wasn't anyone there.

That's the first takeaway of Joe Flacco's interception on Sunday against the Detroit Lions when the game was tied 7-7.

Flacco dropped back and lofted a pass down the left sideline.

But there was a Detroit Lions defender down there, and no Browns.

It was the easiest interception Detroit will ever have, and one of the visually worst Flacco has ever thrown.

It likely wasn't all Flacco's fault. It looks like Cedric Tillman, lined up out wide left, could've done a better job of continuing his route down the field.

In the end, though, it was an interception, and it didn't matter much how it got there.

The pick had football fans wondering why Flacco is still starting at QB.

The other options are both rookies, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. And it would make sense at some point for the Browns to figure out if either of them can be a future contributor.

The Browns don't have a conceptually easy opponent until Oct. 19 against the Miami Dolphins.

If Flacco keeps doing this, though, it'll be tough for the Browns to keep the veteran out there for too much longer.
