The Cincinnati Bengals might be in trouble.
They've got to get through Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, at least temporarily, without Joe Burrow.
The Bengals are notoriously slow starters to the season, but they got a Week 1 win this time around.
The vibes changed quickly in Week 2.
Why is Joe Burrow not playing?
Joe Burrow is out of the game against the Jaguars because he is injured.
At halftime, the Bengals ruled him questionable to return with a toe injury.
The superstar QB was hurt on a sack when the Jaguars got all over Burrow, and he got caught in an awkward position.
He had his left foot planted a bit uncomfortably as he was brought to the ground, and it appeared his left foot got caught in the turf a bit.

The toes were pointed down into the turf as the foot got stuck, so that's likely how Burrow hurt himself.
The Bengals' backup QB is Jake Browning.
Browning has a 4-3 record as an NFL starter, all those games coming with the Bengals in 2023.
He got off to a decent start after taking over for Burrow, but Browning was picked off with less than 30 seconds remaining in the first half.
The Bengals may have to mount a comeback without their franchise QB.
