The Cincinnati Bengals have lost there third consecutive game after starting 2-0. Of course, not having Joe Burrow on the field is a tribulation they know all too well. The Detroit Lions defeated Cincinnati 37-24, and the Lions' defense dominated Jake Browning in the process.
The Bengals' backup quarterback threw three interceptions to take his season total up to eight. And while he also threw three touchdowns, it was after the game was too far out of reach for them to matter. Head coach Zac Taylor was asked about Browning's performance after the game, to which he kept things very short.
"That's on me," Taylor said via Jay Morrison.
Many have been critical of Taylor not benching Browning and sticking with him through the two, and now three, dreadful performances he's put on display. The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Bengals, as they'll head to Lambeau Field next week to face the Packers.
