The Chicago Bears are living the good life right now.

They defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday, and thanks to the Carolina Panthers' win over the LA Rams, they find themselves sitting as the 1-seed not just in the NFC North, but in the NFC as a whole.

This 9-3 Bears team has heart. Whether it’s been demonstrated in their ability to win close games, or their defense’s bend-not-break style of play, or even Ben Johnson’s progressively more energetic ‘Good Better Best’ rallies postgame, it’s been on display.

Last week’s victory meant a whole lot to the team and eventually to the entire city of Chicago.

Johnson’s shirtless ‘Good Better Best’ rally call draws reaction from his two-year-old

Throughout the Bears’ success this season, it’s been marred with criticism over their strength of schedule, or rather, lack thereof. So when they landed their first statement win and bested the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles, they had a good time.

Johnson led the charge. Before embarking on his ‘Good Better Best’ rally call, Johnson handed over his hat and proceeded to rip off his shirt. This led to pandemonium in the locker room, with the players going berserk.

Just like the internet reacted nationwide, the videos released drew some attention from the Johnson household as well.

When Ben took the podium today, he shared a funny anecdote about his two-year-old daughter’s reaction to the madness.

“No shirt, no shirt.”, she said as she watched her father go bonkers on the screen. As Johnson said at the podium, his wife had no idea what was going on.

What she was missing was that her husband had secured free hot dogs for the entire city of Chicago by taking off his shirt. Ben Johnson came up clutch for the city yet again.

Hopefully for Chicago, these ‘Good Better Best’ speeches continue well into the next couple of months.
