The statistics can sometimes tell quite the story.
That's the case for the Buffalo Bills through three weeks of the 2025 NFL regular season after a 31-21 win over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.
When you combine the Bills' stats in the right way, they're off to a start to the season that no team has had in the league's history.

This, via OptaStats, is the combination that Buffalo has that has never been matched:
- 3-0 record
- 100-plus points scored
- 0 turnovers
- Less than 15 penalties
- 150-plus rushing yards per game
- 250-plus net passing yards per game
There have been a couple close calls. The Bills needed to come back from 40-25 down midway through the fourth quarter to beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.
And this time around, Buffalo was tied 21-21 with the Miami Dolphins for much of the second half before closing strong.

But the full package has been incredible.
No turnovers through three games is absurd.
The low penalty number is crucial.
Running and passing the ball effectively at the same time is massive.
This is a Bills team that can go a long, long way if it keeps doing all these things well. Bills Mafia is certainly hoping for that.
