Josh Allen has made a real habit out of beating the Miami Dolphins twice per year.
The Buffalo Bills star, who has led the team to six consecutive division titles, once again took down the Dolphins on Thursday night, a 31-21 victory that saw him throw for three touchdown passes. While the Bills' defense did let Miami hang around, the reigning MVP did his job and continued a career trend of his: dominating the Dolphins.
Even with Miami being a competitive team in the AFC East for most of Allen's eight-year career, the quarterback has continually found ways to ensure Buffalo secures the divisional matchup.

Here's a breakdown of Allen's dominant career record against the Dolphins, as well as a unique record he took from Patrick Mahomes during a Week 3 victory to open 2025.
Josh Allen career record vs. Dolphins
- 14-2 (.875)
- 7 consecutive wins
Dating back to 2018, Allen's first-ever matchup against the Dolphins, the Bills star has racked up a 14-2 record against Miami. The first of those two losses was the first Allen vs. Miami matchup on Dec. 2, 2018; Allen threw for 231 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 21-17 Dolphins win.
The only other victory for Miami against Allen and the Bills since then was in September 2022, when the Dolphins squeaked by with a 21-19 win thanks to a fourth-quarter score from Chase Edmonds. Still, Allen had 400 passing yards and two touchdowns in that game.
Every other Miami vs. Buffalo matchup has resulted in a victory for Allen, a stat that includes one matchup and an active seven-game win streak against the Dolphins dating back to December 2022.
Thursday's Week 3 win for Allen was his 14th all-time against Miami, his most against any NFL team. For comparison, he has a 7-6 career record against the New England Patriots, and a 10-4 record against the New York Jets.
Allen is also 8-0 at home against the Dolphins, yet another mark of his dominance against the squad.

Josh Allen surpasses Patrick Mahomes as fastest to 300 career offensive TDs
As he continued to haunt the Dolphins in Week 3 of "Thursday Night Football," Allen also accomplished an impressive feat by breaking one of his quarterback rival's records.
With his 300th career offensive touchdown (passing and rushing), Allen surpassed Patrick Mahomes as the youngest player to reach that mark. The stat includes the playoffs.
