The Buffalo Bills are gearing up to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 in one of the most highly-anticipated games on the opening slate of the regular season.
Ahead of that, though, wide receiver Khalil Shakir went out of his way to save a horde of dogs.
Per the Nickel City Canine Resuce, the Bills wideout saved an astonishing 19 dogs from euthanasia. Shakir had just come back from his pet adoption event before helping the dogs be saved, per WGRZ.
It is yet to be determined if Josh Allen's top target will play in the Week 1 opener against the Ravens, but the Bills are a far better team when he is on the field compared to when he is not. It does appear, though, that Buffalo is planning for him to play.
