Bills could be circling Washington Commanders All-Pro as trade target before NFL deadline image

The Buffalo Bills have seen multiple wide receivers go off the board as the NFL trade deadline nears.

The Las Vegas Raiders traded Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars two days after losing to them in overtime, and the New Orleans Saints sent Rashid Shaheed to the Seattle Seahawks, reuniting him with his former offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.

As these names continue to dissipate, the Bills have fewer and fewer targets at wide receiver. That said, there is one under-the-radar name they could have circled.

The Washington Commanders are 3-6, and their quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated elbow in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. Because of this, Washington could be set to be sellers before the trade deadline, which makes Deebo Samuel an interesting name to monitor.

Considering the fact that the Bills run the ball more than anyone in the NFL, and the Bills' own Samuel (Curtis) being a massive non-factor, acquiring Deebo and his versatility in the run and pass games would make sense.

Samuel has 42 catches on the season and three touchdowns through the air. He also has a rushing touchdown. Putting him in Joe Brady's offense would likely end up being a net positive.
