The Baltimore Ravens are coming.
After a 1-5 start, Lamar Jackson and Co. Have helped propel this team to a three-game winning streak, to where now John Harbaugh's team is one game out of first place in the AFC North...and still has to play the Pittsburgh Steelers twice.
The 27-19 win over the Minnesota Vikings was a defensive-led game, as Jackson and the offense struggled for the first time since his return, but thankfully, the defense picked up the slack.
For Sports Illustrated's Conor Orr, in his latest power rankings, Baltimore cracks his top 10.
“Over the last two weeks, with a more familiar roster, the Ravens are eighth in offensive efficiency and sixth in total defense,” Orr wrote. “Despite the news that Joe Burrow may possibly make it back by Thanksgiving, my fear is that it will be far too late. This Baltimore team is a runaway train and didn’t really need to get into its offense in a win over Minnesota on Sunday.”
More: Ravens' playoff odds revealed, and it's startling
Can Ravens' playoff push be stopped?
If the NFL has taught me anything over the years, it is that you can never get too comfortable, because you will be hit between the eyes by a result no one saw coming.
Just ask the Buffalo Bills.
So yes, the Ravens have momentum and look odds-on to make the postseason, but there is still plenty of football left, plus five division games, which could be a coin flip for each.
But right now, the Ravens appear to have their game in good order for the first time this season, and by that I mean all three phases.
Baltimore is beginning to get on a roll, and if it can maintain the rage, playoffs are a formality, so too the division, and good luck to any team coming into M&T Bank Stadium for playoff football.
