All eyes were on Lamar Jackson and his hamstring as the Baltimore Ravens laid a beatdown on the Miami Dolphins, 28-6, to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Given that Lamar had been sidelined for the past three games, with the Ravens clearly wanting to get their two-time MVP winner to 100 percent health, all the practice and game simulation doesn't compare to real NFL bullets flying.

And against the Dolphins, Lamar did use his legs a couple of times (14 yards on five carries) as he was no doubt a little cautious to completely open up the engine.

But after his first game in a month, which saw him toss four touchdowns, how did his hamstring feel after the contest?

"Yeah, it felt great," Jackson said. "I didn't have any problems. I was feeling good out there."

That is nothing new, and given what the offense looked like in Lamar's first game back, it does have a scary look to it, and if the Ravens are to go on a run and make the playoffs, Jackson will be front and center.

Granted, there is still a lot of water to go under the bridge for the Ravens to be a serious shot at the postseason, but the all-important first step was taken in Miami, and what a step it was.

Now, the Ravens can feel like they have their teeth into the season.

Winning back-to-back games and having their quarterback healthy, all now seems right in the world, but given their current predicament, they can't rest on their laurels; a long winning streak now is the goal.

Yes, the Ravens are still a long way back in the playoff pecking order, but if Lamar plays like he did in Miami for the rest of the year, they'll quickly chase down those in front of them.
