The Atlanta Falcons (4-7) have signed wide receiver Dylan Drummond off their practice squad ahead of their game against the New York Jets (2-9) on Sunday. He will be counted on as a fresh target for injured wideout Drake London.
Drummond has already appeared in three games for the Falcons in 2025, and most recently caught three passes for 18 yards in the team's win against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12. He caught the team's attention with an impressive training camp, after spending all of 2024 on Atlanta's practice squad.

Drummond, 25, is a product of Eastern Michigan University who went undrafted in 2023, is 6' and 190 pounds. He is considered much more of a position receiver, depsite filling the spot of a potential playmaker like London. He has spent time on the practice squad for the Detroit Lions and New York Giants.
Loss of London is another negative for Falcons

The news this week regarding London's injury was pretty negative, with NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reporting the Falcons receiver is dealing with a PCL injury. Although he was originally listed as doubtful, he's not going to play on Sunday. There's also a growing belief that London could be held out for the remainder of this lost season.
In a season where the team was hoping that young quarterback Michael Penix, Jr would develop a repoire with both London and fellow wide receiver Darnell Mooney. While the numbers have been there, they have all missed time due to injuries.
Mooney himself, suffered a broken collarbone in training camp, so the trio has never really played together consistently in 2025.
