Arch Manning playing now?

Manning is not on Texas' injury report and is cleared to start against Vanderbilt, per reports.

Manning was in concussion protocol and, as of Friday afternoon, was a game-time decision. There was optimism that he would be cleared in time to play. ESPN's Molly McGrath reported on Friday that Manning hadn't had any setbacks and the Longhorns were "hopeful" he would be available.

Manning's performance before exiting the game versus MSU included 29 completions on 46 attempts, totaling 346 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.

Arch Manning 2025 numbers

Through eight games, Manning has completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,795 yards and 15 TDs with six interceptions. He has added another six scores on the ground, which leads the Longhorns.

Last week was just the second time Manning has thrown for over 300 yards in the 2025 season.

“We have four games left,” Texas coach Steve Sarkisian said this week. “If we can handle our business, we have as good of an opportunity as anybody to play in the SEC championship game and be part of the College Football Playoff."
