Saturday's early slate of college football action features the second game of Penn State and FIU's respective 2025 seasons. The No. 2-ranked Nittany Lions will be looking to continue their perfect start to the campaign against the Panthers.

Penn State, which reached the College Football Playoff semifinals last year, kicked off the new season with a dominant 46-11 win over Nevada last Saturday. The Nittany Lions generated 438 yards of total offense, 217 of which were gained on passes from quarterback Drew Allar, who had an 84.6% completion percentage (22-of-26 passes) and one touchdown.

FIU, after logging a 4-8 overall record and 3-5 mark against Conference USA competition last year, is coming off a 42-9 victory over Bethune-Cookman. The Panthers' ground game was especially efficient in the win, as it totaled 223 yards and was responsible for scoring all six of the team's touchdowns.
