Superstar edge rusher Micah Parsons made his Green Bay Packers debut on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, and he did not disappoint.
The former Nittany Lion played only about half of all snaps, but found a way to make his presence known, recording one sack, two pressures, and a quarterback hit.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was almost at a loss for words when asked how he felt about Parsons' performance in Green Bay's 27-13 victory.

When asked what he saw on Parsons' second-quarter pressure that led to a Jared Goff interception, Green Bay's head coach struggled to find the right phrasing.
"It looked like a speed of light, a shooting star coming out of the sky and closing ground fast.” LaFleur explained.
"I mean, that's why he's here, right? That was really exciting to see. I definitely know our crowd reacted the right way as well."
Though the former Penn State standout missed most of training camp and all of preseason with a back injury, he still looked like the dominant pass rusher he had been with the Dallas Cowboys the last few seasons.
Two-time All-Pro right tackle Penei Sewell has his hands full for the foreseeable future, as Parsons deemed him his new rival after switching from the NFC East to the NFC North.
"I'm not gonna be able to get rid of him. He's a hell of a player." Parsons told the press. "I told him, I said, 'You're my new rivalry now. I don't got Lane no more. It's gonna be you. I'mma see you twice a year, so you might as well buckle up.'"
It appears Parsons is fitting in just fine in his new division and home, and Packers fans eagerly await the next time their All-Pro acquisition takes the field.
