Oregon will rely on depth as injuries mount for Minnesota clash image

The No. 8 Oregon Ducks are heading into a Friday-night home matchup with the Minnesota Golden Gophers amid a mounting injury report that threatens to reshape their offensive attack.

Coach Dan Lanning confirmed that wide receiver Dakorien Moore is out after tweaking his knee in practice last week, and tight end Kenyon Sadiq remains questionable. Moore missed last week's contest at Iowa after being a game-time decision. The Ducks also saw seasoned wideout Gary Bryant Jr. Leave their recent game against the Iowa Hawkeyes early with an injury.

With a short week to prepare and key targets unavailable, Oregon will lean heavily on its depth and push its ground game to carry the load. The urgency arises as the Ducks chase a berth in the College Football Playoff.

Despite the setbacks, Lanning offered cautious optimism. "I'm not going to get into injuries," he said. "If they're ready, they'll play."

Oregon’s ability to adjust quickly may prove vital when Minnesota arrives in Eugene. We'll see how the Ducks tweek their lineup, especially in the receiver room. It could also be a major factor down the stretch.

No. 8 Oregon hosts Minnesota on Friday night (9 p.m. ET, FOX).
