CAA rivals Towson and Elon are both coming off their first conference games of the 2025 college football season. Towson beat Bryant, 26-24, while Elon doubled up Hampton, 41-20.
Now the Tigers and Phoenix, both 3-2 on the season, will clash at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Maryland.
This might be one of the FCS battles of the week, with the winner bound to shoot up the Coastal Athletic Conference standings near URI.
Towson's nucleus has been made clear — the Tigers will only go as far as quarterback Andrew Indorf, running back Al Wooten II and wide receiver Jaceon Doss can take them.
As for Elon, the main catalysts include QB Landen Clark, RB Jimmyll Williams and the 1-2 receiver combo of Isaiah Fuhrmann and Landyn Backey.
