Montana is heating up ahead of its Big Sky opener against Idaho on Saturday.
The Grizzlies are 3-0, and quarterback Keali'i Ah Yat has increased his yards in each game he's played. He started the season throwing for 250, then 300 and finally 313 last week.
Ah Yat is in his third season with the program but just his second as the starter. He's up to 863 passing yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions this season.
On the other side of the matchup is an Idaho team that's 2-2 to start the season. This will also be the Vandals' first Big Sky game of the season, but they don't have the same momentum as the Grizzlies.
Idaho lost last week to San Jose State and will play an undefeated Montana this week. It's a big challenge for Joshua Wood under center. He's up to 665 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in his first year with the program. He's also rushed for 314 yards and three touchdowns already.
