Thursday is decision day for Temple (Texas) four-star defensive lineman Jamarion Carlton.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound defender is rated the nation's No. 33 overall prospect, No. 3 defensive lineman and No. 4 player in the state of Texas - putting him within striking distance of five-star status.
Carlton is down to a final four of Baylor, LSU, Texas and Tech State and will announce his commitment at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.

Heading into his decision, Carlton is believed to favoring Baylor and Texas - with a tight race brewing.
While he took official visits to all four of his finalists, Texas (June 6) and Baylor (June 20) were the lone trips in June.
Overall, Texas has the nation's No. 14 recruiting class with just 17 commitments, which means a rise is imminent. Baylor has the nation's No. 52 class with 14 pledges and could make a major leap with Carlton added into the mix.
So, which program will secure the in-state star?
That remains to be seen, but there's little doubt about Carlton's talent level.
As a junior, Carlton registered 57 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss and five sacks and earned an invitation to the Navy All-American Bowl.
