The 52nd Bayou Classic between Southern and Grambling will look to end the latest college football season with a bang.
Grambling saw its four-game win streak snapped against Alcorn State last time out. Above.500 at 7-4, Mickey Joseph has improved in his second season as the Tigers coach. C'zavian Teasett will have weapons in Keith Jones Jr. And Tre Bradford.
Southern (1-10) last won a game in August after making it to the SWAC Championship in 2024. Interim coach Fred McNair attempts to win the last game of the season. Trey Holly looks to run the ball to victory, right behind QB Ashton Strother.
Southern has won the last three Bayou Classic games and leads the all-time series, 27-24.
