No. 10 South Carolina got off to a hot start with a big win over Virginia Tech. The Gamecocks' Week 2 matchup, South Carolina State, also won its first game of the season in a 16-15 battle with Wofford.

South Carolina star quarterback LaNorris Sellers completed 63 percent of his passes for 209 yards and one touchdown in the first game of the year. Sellers also rushed 13 times for 25 yards and a score.
The Bulldogs pulled off a late win over Wofford thanks to a 12-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Stubblefield to Shamontae Burgess. Stubblefield finished with 124 passing yards, while fellow quarterback William Atkins IV threw for 175 yards.
