The Oregon State Beavers are experiencing a nightmare scenario this fall.

On the field, the team is 0-6, but has played well enough to win at least three of those games before being derailed by ill-timed miscues.

Amid calls for both athletic director Scott Barnes and head coach Trent Bray to be fired, they also took major hit on the recruiting trail Tuesday.

"I would like to thank the Oregon State University and the entire football staff for welcoming and supporting me in every way to their organization," he wrote. "At this time, I have decided to decommit from OSU. My recruitment is now open."

Clovis (California) quarterback Deagan Rose announced his decommitment from the program.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound signal-caller is rated the nation's No. 26 quarterback and had been committed to the Beavers since July 2024.

Oregon State's recruiting class now sits at No. 100 nationally, which would be the program's worst finish in modern recruiting history (2000).
