There will be a new Northeast-10 champion this season.
New Haven won its second consecutive NE10 title last year with a 41-14 victory over Pace and secured a spot in the Division II playoffs. The Chargers made a huge leap in the offseason, though, transitioning from Division II to the Division I FCS level.
Now, the championship race is wide open, leaving contenders like Bentley, Saint Anselm and Assumption to compete for the crown.
