Once again Ferris State is the reigning champion of Division II football. The 2024 title marks the third championship in four years.
After not playing in the title game in 2023, the Bulldogs won the crown a year ago. This season is a chance to defend the trophy as they seek a fourth title for the program.
Ferris State kicked off its season with a 34-17 victory against Pittsburg State at home. Now, the Bulldogs hit the road for a matchup against Lake Erie College.
The Storm haven't played their season opener yet and will begin their 2025 season against arguably the toughest opponent in Division II football. Lake Erie has the benefit of home-field advantage and will play the first four games of the season at home.
