The Bulldogs won the SEC Championship for the second time in three seasons, but they fell short in the College Football Playoff.

Georgia entered the expanded tournament as the No. 2 seed, earning a bye to the quarterfinals, where it lost to No. 7 Notre Dame. The 2025 campaign should be another chance for the Bulldogs to add a title to their history.

Georgia lost Carson Beck to the transfer portal, but there is still plenty of confidence with the program under Kirby Smart. The SEC preseason media poll has the Bulldogs finishing second in the conference to Texas.

That would result in a rematch of the SEC title game last year where Georgia won 22-19 in overtime. The Bulldogs will be looking for more than an SEC title match, however, as they seek yet another national championship.
