The Florida State Seminoles are running the risk of falling behind as a program if the losing continues.
A 5-7 season will see a host of players enter the transfer portal.
One piece of news emerged Tuesday, when On3's Hayes Fawcett reported that Mario Nash will be going into the portal.
Nash is a true freshman offensive lineman. He's 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, and he'll still have four years of eligibility after a redshirt this season.

Nash was a four-start recruit in the Class of 2025.
The big fella is originally from De Kalb, Mississippi, where he played at Kemper County High School.
He took five official visits during the recruitment process. The trips other than Florida State were to Clemson, Ole Miss, LSU and Mississippi State.
He had all the big offers beyond that: Alabama, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee and USC, among many others.
The potential Lane Kiffin connection is interesting here. Nash was offered by and visited Ole Miss, and he also took a visit to LSU before Kiffin was there, so he knows about the staff and the place.
He'll definitely be a name to watch when he commits somewhere new.
