Every team with multiple players on college football’s top 150 list

Every team with multiple players on college football’s top 150 list image

CBS Sports has recently released their Top 150 players ranking for college football in 2025. The list is rather daunting, so we’ve organized it. Based on players by team, including their CBS ranking. While the rankings themselves do not exactly simulate the current top 25, these player rankings do, effectively group teams in the AP top 25 by tiers.

The teams with the most players on the ranking reflects a group of the top teams. Similarly, the teams that only have two or three players on the top 150, find themselves ‘toward’ the bottom of the AP top 25.

An interesting wrinkle is that there are a few very highly ranked teams (i.e. Indiana, Ole Miss, and Tennessee) that do not have more than a few on this list but are ranked significantly high on the AP top 25. Providing some suggestion that those teams are as successful as they currently are, more from coaching than elite talent.

Is your team represented? Do you agree with where your team's players are ranked?
