BYU makes the trip to Greenville this weekend chasing a 3-0 start, and maybe a little payback that’s been a long time coming.

East Carolina, meanwhile, is riding high after blanking Coastal Carolina 38-0 and will look to keep the good times rolling with a third straight win.

The Pirates lean heavily on the air attack, and sophomore signal-caller Katin Houser has been dealing — racking up 973 yards and five scores while completing passes at a sparkling 71% clip through just three outings.

The Cougars have been one of the steadiest programs in recent years, winning 13 of their last 15 contests and finishing last season ranked No. 13 after dropping only two nail-biters.

But there's been one thorn in their side: East Carolina. The Pirates pulled off upsets in both 2017 and 2022, and now, with the series back in Greenville, the purple and gold are aiming for a third straight notch in the win column against the Cougars.
