Colorado is moving on from the Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders era as both entered the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hunter won the Heisman Trophy after a historic two-way season at wide receiver and cornerback. It's almost impossible to replace someone of that caliber, but the Buffaloes will have to make do.
Even with such a great season from Hunter and Sanders, the Buffaloes finished just 9-4 last year. They lost to No. 17 BYU in the Valero Alamo Bowl to conclude their season. This is a new era, and it begins at home against Georgia Tech. Colorado is expected to play three ranked teams this year based on current rankings.
Georgia Tech is coming off a 7-6 season, losing to Vanderbilt in the Birmingham Bowl. It begins 2025 on the road and will play No. 4 Clemson in its third game of the season.
