After an exciting Week 0 appetizer, the college football season finally kicks into gear Thursday night as Week 1 begins.
Boise State, looking to build off last year's berth in the College Football Playoff, has the spotlight as the only ranked team in action Thursday. We'll get our first glimpse at the Broncos without star running back Ashton Jeanty, as Boise State hits the road for a true road game against South Florida.
Then, former five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola begins his second year as the man in Lincoln, as Nebraska takes on Cincinnati at Arrowhead Stadium — the home of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. It's a big year ahead for Matt Rhule's program, which won seven games last season for the first time since 2016.
A few other Big Ten programs eyeing improvement also spring into action. Luke Fickell begins his third year with Wisconsin against Miami (OH), while Greg Schiano and Rutgers take on Ohio.
The Sporting News has everything you need to know about watching Thursday's slate of college football.
