The pomp and circumstance of Week 1 of the college football season delivered. What might Week 2 have in store?
The schedule begins with a four-game slate on Friday, with plenty of storylines to follow. Former USC quarterback Miller Moss makes his second start for Louisville against James Madison. Moss threw one touchdown and two interceptions in the Cardinals' victory last weekend over Eastern Kentucky; he'll look for more consistency in Week 2.
In the Big Ten, freshman Malik Washington readies for his second career start for Maryland against Northern Illinois; Washington threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns in an impressive debut against FAU last Saturday. Elsewhere in the conference, Northwestern eyes its first win of the season when it takes on Western Illinois.
Boise State fell out of the AP poll after a season-opening loss to South Florida. The Broncos are back in action on Friday night against Eastern Washington, as third-year starter Maddux Madsen looks to lead a bounce-back effort.
