An epic Week 1 slate lived up to the hype, starting the new college football season with a bang.

Ohio State once again showcased its championship mettle, suffocating Arch Manning and then-No. 1 Texas in a 14-7 victory. The Longhorns weren't the only top team to lose over the weekend, as Alabama suffered a surprising loss to Florida State, beginning Year 2 under Kalen DeBoer on a rough note.

Elsewhere, Garrett Nussmeier and LSU held off Clemson in a slugfest, while Carson Beck and Miami (Fla.) withstood a late rally to down Notre Dame in an absolute thriller.

Fans are surely eager for the theatrics and chaos to continue in Week 2, and this week's slate seems poised to deliver. We'll get to watch freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood lead No. 15 Michigan into Norman to take on No. 18 Oklahoma and No. 16 Iowa State rekindle its rivalry with Iowa.

The Sporting News has everything that you need to know about the Week 2 schedule, including TV and streaming information for every game.
