The Clemson Tigers are off to an horrific 1-3 start to season that began with them as darkhorse national title contenders.
That performance has Dabo Swinney's job on shaky ground, and apparently has recruits reconsidering their futures.
On Thursday, Buford (Georgia) four-star edge-rusher Dre Quinn announced his decommitment from the Tigers.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defender has accumulated nearly 40 major scholarship offers during the recruiting process and will be an immediate hot commodity on the recruiting trail.
In the late spring/early summer, Quinn took official visits to Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Texas, but he also recently took a trip to check out the Tennessee Volunteers.
However, Notre Dame, Ohio State and others could emerge as contenders with his renewed process.
Last season at Greater Atlanta Christian (Georgia), Quinn contributed at receiver and starred on defense, registering 42 tackles, 9.5 tackles-for-loss and 2.5 sacks.
But he flashed elite potential, something he has continued to do early in his senior campaign at Buford.
For Clemson, the decommitment drops their class to No. 15 nationally.
