Two major college football programs will face off this weekend as Stanford travels to BYU for a week 2 matchup.
The landscape of BYU football has changed in recent years since the program decided to forgo independence and join the Big 12. After a wash season in 2023, the Cougars went 11-2 last fall and defeated Colorado to win the Alamo Bowl.
Stanford has had a multitude of struggles in recent years, but the program has been working on turning the tides. Unfortunately, though, the Cardinal weren't able to secure a season-opening win, falling to Hawaii, 23-20, last week.
