The Michigan Wolverines have sent a lot of players to the NFL in recent years. Recently, Jim Harbaugh went to the Los Angeles Chargers to be their head coach, bringing a few Wolverines with him to Los Angeles.
But, with NFL cut-down day, a lot of former Wolverines lost their 53-man roster spots to other NFL players. However, after the dust settled, 49 former Wolverines made NFL rosters, plus a couple of others who are on injured lists.
Clayton Sayfie of on3.com highlighted those 49 players, along with the three others who are beginning the year on the injured list with their respective NFL teams. But, across all 32 NFL 53-man rosters, 49 Wolverines made the final cuts.
Who Are the 49 Former Michigan Players to Make NFL Rosters?
For starters, the three players beginning the year on injured lists are Myles Hinton on the Philadelphia Eagles, Erick All for the Cincinnati Bengals, and Junior Colson for the Chargers.
