Jordyn Tyson has held down a starring role this season for the Arizona State Sun Devils.
But on Saturday, they'll have to figure out how to play without him.
Tyson isn't available for ASU's Week 9 clash with the Houston Cougars.
It's unfortunate, because Tyson is the Big 12 leader in receptions with 57.
On those 57 grabs, Tyson has 628 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
Why isn't Jordyn Tyson playing today?
Jordyn Tyson is out for Arizona State's clash with Houston due to injury.
He was hurt a week ago in the 26-22 win over Texas Tech, then returned to the game.
But this week, head coach Kenny Dillingham ruled Tyson out anyway due to that injury.
"This is something where I'm trying to protect him from himself," Dillingham said during the week.
The Sun Devils do have QB Sam Leavitt back, which is a big deal, but on Saturday, they won't have Tyson.
