Alabama’s win over No. 5 Georgia was as much about resilience as it was about talent.

For the second straight year, the Crimson Tide stormed out with purpose, dictating the tempo against a program that had not lost at home in 33 games. Georgia’s aura of invincibility in Athens met its match in a battle that proved just how quickly Alabama has grown from its early-season struggles.

The most striking difference came in the offensive line play. Early in the year, the Tide looked bad and failed to protect consistently or allow Ty Simpson to establish rhythm. Against Georgia, they held firm and the Tide QB shines. Simpson delivered the ball with precision, reminding fans of Alabama’s history of championship-caliber signal-callers. His connection with wideouts like Ryan Williams stretched the defense, creating opportunities that simply weren’t there in the loss to Florida State.

"It's very different now," Joel Klatt said on his show this week. "I do see buy in. I do see effort, and I do see a championship team with Alabama."

This game shows Alabama's buy-in mentality. In their early loss in Tallahassee, the Tide looked sluggish, even disinterested at times. On Saturday, the energy was unmistakable under the prime time lights.  Every snap carried urgency. Every defensive stand felt like a statement to Kirby Smart and his staff. That competitive character and willingness to confront the flaws has defined the program under Kalen DeBoer, and it was on full display here.

Georgia, who has been a top SEC contender, finally looked average. Alabama’s front disrupted rhythm, the secondary contested every pass by Gunner Stockton. On the other side, when Simpson found his groove, the Bulldogs had no answer.

Yes, Alabama wasn't perfect. They didn’t run the ball effectively and consistency is still a hurdle with Jam Miller coming back from injury. But in this matchup, the Tide proved they can win by adaptability.

Alabama now feels to be in familiar territory as a team who doubted early and was ultimately reborn into a championship contender.
