The chaos continued in college football after four top ten teams fell during the action in Week 8.
Miami took an unexpected 24-21 loss to Louisville on Friday night. Carson Beck's four interceptions became the story against the Cardinals defense. The Hurricane's first loss of the season doesn't drop them from Playoff contention, but there's no room for error in South Florida.
Outside of Miami, Ole Miss took their first loss of the season with a 43-35 thumping by Georgia. The Bulldogs moved up four spots to No. 5 and put themselves back into contention after a loss to Alabama. As for Lane Kiffin's team, there is still strong postseason buzz in Oxford with many deciding games left in the final weeks.
No. 4 Alabama put themselves in the top five for the first time this season with a 37-20 win over Tennessee. The loss to Florida State in the opener seems long gone now.
Texas Tech also took their first loss of the season on Saturday night. Arizona State's late heroics was the difference with the defending Big 12 champs pulling out a 26-22 win.
Vanderbilt seems to keep the momentum going with another key win in SEC play. This time a 31-24 victory over LSU. The Tigers second loss in three games puts them at No. 20.
